Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Medical Coder at Odilia Global, your responsibilities will include:

1. Perform accurate and efficient medical coding, with a primary focus on HCC coding.
2. Review medical records and documentation to ensure proper coding of diagnoses and procedures.
3. Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, policies, and regulations.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and resolve coding issues.
5. Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and guidelines, especially those related to HCC.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in medical coding, with a specific focus on HCC coding.
• Certifications: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification is mandatory. Additional certifications such as COC, CRC, CCS, and CIC are highly desirable.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of medical coding guidelines, including ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in using coding software and tools to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.
