Job Description

Job Overview

As a Statistical Programmer at IQVIA, you will provide programming expertise to develop and maintain programs, ensuring they meet the needs of internal and external clients. You will play a pivotal role in developing project-related solutions, contributing to various statistical programming tasks.

Essential Functions

Perform programming, testing, and documentation of programs for statistical tables and listing summaries.
Develop analysis databases (derived datasets) and transfer data for internal and external clients.
Program the integration of databases from multiple studies or sources under supervision.
Develop programming documentation, including specifications, as appropriate.
Provide advanced technical expertise, bringing project solutions to teams and departments.
Develop, implement, and validate new process technologies, macros, and applications.
Assist the statistical team lead in fulfilling project responsibilities.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Biostatistics or related field with 1 year of relevant experience OR
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge of programming, statistics, and/or clinical drug development process.
Working knowledge of computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS Macro Language.
Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Aptitude for mathematical calculations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
