Key Responsibilities
As an intern in the BIOS department, your key responsibilities will include:
- Familiarize with GSK environment – complete relevant e-learning and adhere to job specific SOPs and POLs.
- Gain knowledge of clear understanding of drug development process and clinical trials.
- Familiarity with appropriate study documents (e.g. Protocol, RAP), database and relevant web sites.
- Learn SAS programming skills.
- If with stats background, learn application of Biostatistics in Clinical Trials and relevant SAS procedures
- Get involved in project work under supervision from team members.
- Generate figures, tables and listings.
- Perform Stage 1 Quality Control (QC) as per GSK QC guidelines.
- Work on academic project and produce a dissertation under supervision of GSK guide
- Other project or Biostatistics-India related duties as assigned by team leader.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be eligible for the GSK BIOS Internship, candidates should possess:
- Educational Background: A degree in life sciences, statistics, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
- Programming Knowledge: A foundation in SAS programming is advantageous.
