Fortrea, a leading clinical research organization, is currently seeking experienced Medical Contact Centre Associates for its Pharmacovigilance MICC Department in Pune and Mumbai. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in pharmacy, life sciences, and medical sciences who have prior experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance operations.
Job Role: Medical Contact Centre Associate II
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle medical information queries, product quality complaints, and general queries via telephone, email, and fax.
- Record and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage drug safety data, including call intake, documentation, peer reviews, and case follow-ups.
- Track various data points and metrics for ongoing quality control.
- Develop and update training materials to align with regulatory updates.
- Conduct training sessions and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Ensure high-quality data processing and regulatory compliance.
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medical Science.
- Other accepted disciplines include Biological Sciences, Nursing, and Chemistry.
Experience Required:
- 2 to 3 years of pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience for candidates with a BS/BA degree.
- 1 to 2 years for candidates with MA/MS/Pharm.D.
- Candidates with associate degrees must have 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Non-degree holders require 5-6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a call center environment is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, pharmacovigilance best practices, and ICH GCP guidelines.
- Ability to analyze and interpret medical data.
- Capable of handling inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
