CorroHealth is actively recruiting certified medical coders for the following roles:

• Evaluation and Management – Outpatient (E&M OP)
• Same Day Surgery (SDS)

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Roles and Responsibilities

As a certified medical coder at CorroHealth, you will be responsible for:

• Extracting relevant patient information from medical records.
• Reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Assigning accurate CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/ICD-10-CM, APC, DRG, and ASA codes.
• Performing detailed chart audits to ensure coding accuracy.
• Staying updated on new coding rules and guidelines.
• Ensuring all coding complies with medical coding policies and healthcare standards.
• Identifying and resolving any coding-related issues with billing or documentation.

Required Qualifications and Expertise
To qualify for the role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education:
Graduation in Life Sciences or any equivalent degree with Anatomy and Physiology as core subjects.

Experience:
At least 1 year of medical coding experience in E&M OP or SDS.

Certifications:

• CPC, COC, CPC-P from AAPC or
• CCS, CCS-P, CCA from AHIMA.
