Position Title: Scientist / Senior Scientist – Microbial Fermentation
Job Description
As a Scientist/Senior Scientist in Microbial Fermentation at Biocon, you will:
- Bioprocess Technology Expertise:
- Candidates with a background in bioprocess technology/biochemical engineering with 2-5 years of industrial experience will be preferred.
- Microbial Fermentation Knowledge:
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of microbial fermentation and scale-up processes.
- Process Development:
- Contribute to process development in the Upstream R&D department.
- Optimization Responsibilities:
- Take charge of optimizing fermentation processes for enhanced efficiency.
- R&D Work Management:
- Manage assigned R&D work, including SF trials and fermenter trials.
- Lab Experimentation:
- Design and execute lab experiments to support research initiatives.
- Documentation and Data Control:
- Handle documentation tasks, including batch compilations and stability data management.
Education Qualification:
- M. Tech. / Ph.D.
Required Experience:
- 2-5 years
