Vacancy: Biochemist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated biochemist with expertise in animal cell culture techniques to join our dynamic team. The candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our research and development efforts in the field of cultivated meat media.

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control Chemical and Biochemical Testing:
   • Conduct and analyze testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques such as ELISA, PCR, HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, titration, and wet chemistry methods.
2. Cell Culture Techniques:
   • Execute aseptic techniques to culture and maintain various animal cell lines.
   • Conduct quality control analysis of media by monitoring cell growth, viability, and morphology to ensure optimal culture conditions.
   • Perform passaging, subculturing, and cryopreservation of cell lines as needed.
3. Method Development and Validation:
   • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods to support quality control testing activities.
   • Ensure that methods are robust, reliable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
4. Documentation and Record Keeping:
   • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing activities, results, and observations.
   • Prepare and review documentation such as test protocols, reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and batch records.

Qualifications:

• MSc in Biochemistry or Cell Biology with 1-2 years’ experience in animal cell culture techniques, ELISA, allergen testing, laboratory instrumentation, and analytical techniques commonly used in cell biology research.
