Alkem Labs is excited to announce an opening for a Medical Reviewer/Drug Safety Physician to join our esteemed pharmacovigilance team in Mumbai. If you have an MBBS or MD degree and over two years of experience in medical review within a pharmacovigilance setting, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
Medical Review and Triage
- Triage and Medical Review: Conduct thorough triage and medical review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs), including literature reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations.
Pharmacovigilance Expertise
- Pharmacovigilance Regulations: Maintain a strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines to ensure all medical reviews are compliant.
- MedDRA Coding: Utilize proficiency in MedDRA coding to accurately classify adverse events and ensure consistent reporting.
Analytical and Medical Skills
- Analytical Skills: Apply excellent analytical skills to interpret complex medical data and provide accurate safety assessments.
- Medical Expertise: Leverage your medical expertise to make informed decisions regarding drug safety and patient health.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: MBBS or MD degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical review within a pharmacovigilance setting.
Preferred Skills
- Pharmacovigilance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
- Analytical and Medical Skills: Excellent analytical and medical skills.
- MedDRA Coding Proficiency: Proficiency in MedDRA coding.
