Gopal snacks Hiring Microbiologist requirement based at Metoda, Rajkot.
Position: Microbiologist (Preferably Local Candidate)
Education: MSC / BSc in Microbiology / Bio-Chemistry / Bio-technology
Desirable: Certified or experiential capacity in FSSC 22000 Ver 5.1, ISO-20000, HACCP, etc will be preferable / added advantage.
Experience :Min. 1 year and Max. 3 years of experience as a Microbiologist in food processing company or in Commercial Testing Laboratory specializing in testing of agriculture & food, water samples for various biological parameters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To ensure timely sampling, analysis and reporting of results to facilitate smooth functioning of production and dispatches.
To ensure the general maintenance including cleaning / Sanitization and sterilization of the Microbiology Laboratory
Daily Analysis and recording of RM, meet it’s with defined standards; Daily Analysis and recording of IPM (In process Material) and finished products (FP) and water specification analysis.
Initiate non-conformance investigations to document and track product /manufacturing / laboratory OOS, and CAPA issues.
New product SOP implementation and its compliance (Designing, seasoning, shelf life study, commercialization, existing product).
To conduct IQAs as directed by QC head and to ensure that all audit NCs & observations that arise in the area of work are auctioned within the time frame laid out as per Food Safety and Quality Manual
Environmental Monitoring program as per US-FSMA implementation through Advance Culture-based tests, such as enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) methods and diagnostic test kits for bacterial pathogens and microbial toxins. Conventional Culture based test like plate exposures, swab test etc.
GFLP testing prepares documentation as per Quality Manual for all kinds of domestic and international regulatory approvals and implements it.
To be familiar with all aspects of the Quality and Food Safety Manual and to comply with the policies, procedures and associated documents at all times in order to comply with the Accreditation Standard / Certification
As per GFLP guidelines, to develop, prepare and document various microbiology laboratory processes, SOPS
As per GFLP-environmental control, housekeeping, safety features all are complied GMP and GFLP awareness amongst staff & workers by conducting regular trainings under the guidance of QC Head.
