Banaras Hindu University invites applications for the position of Research Associate in the Department of Gastroenterology. The post is temporary for 9 months and is co-terminus with the ICMR-D.H.R. funded project. The essential qualification for the position is a Ph.D. or 3 years of research experience after an MSc in Biologic Sciences/M Pharma with at least one research paper in SCI Journal. Candidates with research experience in handling laboratory instruments/molecular techniques, scientific writing, and preparation of research reports, along with experience in pancreatitis and the clinical area, will be preferred.

P-14/0789 entitled “A randomized study to investigate the role of rifaximin compared to standard of care in reducing infectious complications in acute pancreatitis” at Banaras Hindu University. This post is temporary for 9 months and is Co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification: Candidates should hold Ph.D. or have 3 years of research experience after MSc in Biologic Sciences / M.Pharma with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (S.C.I.) Journal.
Desirable qualification / Experience: The candidate has a good publication in peer review Journals, research experience in handling laboratory instruments/molecular techniques, good scientific writing, and preparation of research reports. Candidates with research experience in pancreatitis and the clinical area will be preferred.
