Role

As a Clinical Coding Specialist at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in managing clinical trial data through accurate and consistent coding. Your responsibilities include acting as a Lead Coder, maintaining coding-related documentation, and ensuring the quality and consistency of data coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple trials/programs in coding activities.
• Maintain coding-related sections of Data Management Documents.
• Review and provide feedback on coding for consistency and quality.
• Troubleshoot coding problems and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• 3 or more years of experience in drug development with at least 2 years performing Clinical coding.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Good communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Desirable Requirement:

• University or college degree in life science, chemistry, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent relevant degree.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
