1. Field Assistant
- Essential Qualification: Graduation in Science/Pharmacy
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of fieldwork on medicinal plants/raw drugs
- Job Specification: Field collection of medical plants, market survey, and procurement of raw drugs
- Age: 50 years
- Stipend: Rs. 20,000/- p.m. (consolidated)
- Project Name: Identification of adulterants/substitutes for Ayurveda plant raw material in trade using pharmacognostic and phytochemical parameters (GAP3520)

2. Project Associate-II/SRF
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda with 2 years of R&D experience
- Desirable Qualification: MD Ayurveda with knowledge of Shodhana process

- HRA Admissibility: HRA (House Rent Allowance) will be provided as per the sanctioned norms of the projects.
- Application Process: a) The Application form will be available at the venue on the specified date. However, candidates can also download the application form in advance from the website www.nbri.res.in. During the interview, candidates should bring one latest photograph, original documents, and self-attested copies of certificates starting from matriculation, birth certificate, experience certificate, etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be considered. Eligible candidates are required to be present at the venue one hour before the scheduled time for necessary document verification.
b) Mode of Selection: Selection will be through an interview. If a large number of candidates appear, a screening test with multiple-choice objective questions may be conducted for shortlisting. The shortlisted candidates will then face an interview with the Selection Committee. Based on performance, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed for future project requirements in the relevant field/area. Candidates have the option to interact in Hindi/English before the committee. If a large number of candidates turn up, the interview may continue to the next day.
c) Appointment Duration: Selected candidates in the CSIR/externally funded project will be coterminous with the project, subject to satisfactory progress, receipt of funds from CSIR, and adherence to relevant rules/conditions/instructions issued by CSIR/GoI/Other Authorities. However, the total tenure of project staff in CSIR projects should not exceed 05 years.
d) CGPA/SGPA/OGPA Conversion: Candidates from Universities/Institutes using CGPA/SGPA/OGPA Grades are required to convert them into percentages based on the relevant formula provided by their University/Institute.
e) Interview Logistics: In case of a large number of candidates, interviews may extend into the late evening or the next day. Candidates are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
f) Position Availability: The number of positions may vary at the time of selection.
g) Canvassing and Influence: Any form of canvassing or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to disqualification for the post.
h) Eligibility Verification: If, at any point in the future, it is discovered that the candidate was not eligible, engagement shall be liable to termination.
i) Eligible Candidates: To avoid inconvenience, only candidates strictly fulfilling the eligibility criteria and possessing the required degree/mark sheet in the specified subjects should attend the walk-in interview.
j) COVID-19 Guidelines: While attending the walk-in interview, candidates are advised to strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.
- No Interim Queries: No interim queries will be entertained.
- No TA/DA: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Dearness Allowance) will be admissible.
