Job Description

As a Medical Content Writer at Pfizer, you will play a crucial role in developing global medical channel content for assigned therapeutic areas and medicines. Your responsibilities will include creating abstracts, manuscripts, congress presentations, plain language summaries, slide decks, and other external-facing medical content. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, ensure data accuracy, and adhere to timelines and budget constraints.

About the Department & Responsibilities

• Develop global medical channel content for assigned therapeutic areas and medicines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners for content strategy.
• Utilize tools such as OvidSP and bibliographic databases for scientific literature review.
• Ensure accuracy and data quality control in medical content.
• Stay updated on evolving trends in medical content generation.

Basic Qualifications

• Excellent scientific writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Effective influencing skills for content strategy decisions.
• Experience with data presentation and analysis software.

Educational Qualifications

• High fluency in written and spoken English.
• Post-graduate/Doctorate degree in life sciences/pharmacy/medical sciences or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
• ISMPP-CMPP® certification.
