About the Role
Clarivate is seeking a talented Associate STEM Content Analyst (GENSEQ) to join its Intellectual Property Group (IPG). This position involves working with GENESEQ, an advanced database containing biological sequence information from patents.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply biotechnology, genetics, and molecular biology concepts to extract and curate biological sequence data from patent documents.
- Index and analyze nucleic acid and amino acid sequences from various scientific sources.
- Work with publicly available databases such as NCBI Taxonomy, PubMed, and other secondary research sources.
- Ensure compliance with editorial policies and maintain consistency in indexing.
- Meet weekly production and quality targets.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in patent indexing, gene sequencing, or biological data analysis.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in patent indexing, gene sequencing, and disease indexing.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and working with PDF/TIFF images.
- Familiarity with databases like NCBI Taxonomy, PubMed.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and ensure accuracy in data curation.

- Shift Timing: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM IST (including a 1-hour break)
