Maintenance – Dy. Manager / Manager Positions at Ajanta Pharma

Ajanta Pharma is looking to hire for the Dy. Manager and Manager roles in Maintenance. The positions require professionals with significant experience in overseeing plant maintenance activities, especially in an OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing environment.

1. Dy. Manager / Manager – Maintenance

Location: Paithan, Dist. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra
Experience: 13 to 15 years of experience in maintenance, particularly within OSD plants.
Qualifications:

• BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining OSD plant equipment, guiding a team of 25+ staff for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Thorough knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and US and other regulatory standards for plant maintenance.
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems, Purified Water Systems, HVAC systems, and compliance with QMS (Quality Management System) for incidents, CAPA, and deviations.
• Proficiency in managing building maintenance and other engineering-related activities as per regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dy. Manager or Manager in the Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Ajanta Pharma’s formulation facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Guiding a team of 25+ maintenance professionals to execute preventive and corrective maintenance for plant equipment.
• Managing breakdown maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to operational efficiency.
• Overseeing the maintenance of primary, secondary, and utility equipment in the plant, including systems like HVAC, Purified Water, and other utility services.
• Ensuring cGMP compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements (US and others) for all maintenance activities.
• Handling SCADA systems and related operational activities, ensuring they meet the required performance standards.
• Overseeing project management tasks within the plant, handling both ongoing operations and new initiatives.
• Managing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including handling of incidents, deviations, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change control processes.
• Collaborating with inter-departmental teams to ensure smooth coordination of plant activities.
• Managing eLog systems and ensuring all logs are up to date as per regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Educational Qualification:
  A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BE) is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • 13 to 15 years of experience in plant maintenance, particularly in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in managing maintenance activities in a pharmaceutical environment, with a focus on cGMP compliance.
