Sun Pharma is specifically seeking professionals experienced in the packaging development of non-oral products, including injectables, ophthalmic products, and inhalation therapies. The position is crucial in ensuring that all packaging meets the required regulatory standards and optimizes product safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager of R&D Packaging Development – Non Orals, you will take on diverse and impactful responsibilities, including:
- Characterization of RLD Pack Samples:
- Analyzing packaging samples for injectable, ophthalmic, and inhalation products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Finalizing Pack Configurations:
- Working on the packaging configuration for exhibit batches of new generic and NDA (New Drug Application) products, ensuring all requirements are met before product launch.
- New Packaging Materials Development:
- Identifying innovative packaging materials that align with product needs and developing new vendor partnerships for reliable packaging supply.
- Mold Development & Validation:
- Overseeing the creation and validation of molds for both primary and secondary packaging materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Regulatory Support:
- Collaborating with the regulatory team for ANDA (Abbreviated New Drug Application) and NDA submissions in regulated markets and addressing any queries related to packaging.
- Launch Coordination:
- Coordinating with the New Product Introduction (NPI) and planning teams to ensure the timely launch of new ANDA/NDA products.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for the Manager – R&D Packaging Development role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education:
- A degree in Packaging Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in packaging development for injectable, ophthalmic, or inhalation products
